Since then he makes a living by playing a pretend Democrat on Fox News and writing the sort of idiotic drivel published by the Washington Post in tomorrow's edition.
To that end, we believe Obama should announce immediately that he will not be a candidate for reelection in 2012.
If the president goes down the reelection road, we are guaranteed two years of political gridlock at a time when we can ill afford it. But by explicitly saying he will be a one-term president, Obama can deliver on his central campaign promise of 2008, draining the poison from our culture of polarization and ending the resentment and division that have eroded our national identity and common purpose.
And that will suddenly cause the Republicans to start working with the Democrats to actually solve the country's problems and the GOP will miraculously transform themselves from the party of "Hell No" to the party of, "Hell Yea, let's help the American people together with the Democrats."
The GOP are only interested in lowering taxes for the richest Americans, gutting any and all regulations and stopping any legislation that might help the average citizen such as extending unemployment, supporting real financial reform, real health care reform etc. Jesus himself could be President and the GOP still won't give an inch,
This article in the Huffington Post dissects this piece of drivel point by point. The paragraph I quoted is not even close to the level of absurdity of the piece.
