It look less than a 5,000 vote majority out of 1.67 million votes cast but victory in Arizona was a bit surprising considering the overall conservative nature of the population and that this election brought out an order demographic than most elections. On the other hands, conservatives in the West tend to have a more libertian streak than those in the Midwest for example. In the West medical marijuana i supported by 55% of all voters, but only 36% in the Midwest. I guess they prefer their traditional drugs back there, oxycontin, aka 'hillbilly heroin' and crystal meth.
