The Gulf of Mexico oil spill appears destined to become the largest oil spill in America and the worst environmental disaster in years. Tourism and fishing along the Gulf of Mexico will be devastated. People in New Orleans (as if they needed more problems) say they a 'pungent fuel smell' is already wafting over the city.
I'm waiting to see Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich and others who think that offshore drilling will solve all our energy needs dressed in waders helping cleanup but until then, shut the fuck up.
Update Rush Limbaugh blames 'environmental whackos' for the spill. Maybe Limbaugh should offer his fat bloated body to be used as a floating boom to contain the spill. I hear they don't have nearly enough of them to do the job.
