Grilled Cheese Invitational

Had a wonderful sunny afternoon at the 8th annual GCI tasting some delicious and innovative grilled cheese sandwiches. One called Duck Duck Goose had duck confit, pate de fois gras, aged Gruyere, truffle oil and chestnut infused with lavender oil. Yum. Some interesting dessert grilled cheese efforts as well. About 10,000 people attended and the lines for beer were way too long. Salads for the next week, especially after the dessert sandwiches.

On the way back to the Metro station the headline in La Opinion, the LA Spanish paper said it all. "ARIZONA TIERRA HOSTIL"
