That's today's GOP for you. To overcome a state budget shortfall they're going to start taxing food. No-one taxes food in the U.S. It hits low income people especially hard. At the same time they want to lower taxes on foreign corporations.
So they are willing to break their 'no tax increases' pledge to hit the most needy who I have to assume are not 'Real Americans' to them. Disgusting.
