The American Family Association (AFA) has always been on the extreme right of even most right wing organizations. Bryand Fischer, their most visible spokesman has frequently proved his virulent anti-gay and anti-Muslim feelings with comments such as equating gay sexual acts as the equivalence of domestic terrorism and that gays should be disqualified from all public positions.
He's found a new ally in Qaddafi. Latching on to Qaddafi's absurd claims that drug addled Al Qaeda operatives are behind the Libyan resistance he's now claiming that the 'no-fly zone' is aiding and abetting Al Qaeda.
It's no wonder that the AFA has been designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center but that hasn't stopped people like Newt Gingrich funneling money to them or potential GOP Presidential candidates Tim Pawlenty and Mike Huckabee from appearing regularly on their radio shows.
Buying into Qaddafi's delusions is a new low even for Fischer but then nothing has ever stopped him from delving into the gutter before.
