GOP Senator, John Thune killed the bill because extending all tax cuts was more important. There people who wrap themselves in the flag yet deny those who sacrificed for the country ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Stewart devoted the entire show to the issue. In the seocnd part he had some 9/1 first responders live on the show who are all suffering horrendous health issues from 9/11. It is heartbreaking and makes me so angry at the same time.
the right in this country have totally lost their moral compass and any sense of decency.
