What the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision has wrought.

A new organization headed by veteran Republican lobbyist Scott Reed is raising $25 million to spend against Democrats in about 20 key races. The funding is all coming from the financial, energy and health insurance industries.

For those with short memories, the Citizens United decision opened the door for corporations to donate unlimited amounts for political campaigns without having to identify themselves as the donors. Individuals are allowed a maximum of $2,000 per candidate.
