A flood of biblical proportions

It's estimated that about 20 million people have been left homeless by the flooding in Pakistan. Most are rural inhabitants who have also lost their livelihoods for at least a year if not longer. The tragedy hasn't received much publicity because the loss of life has been relatively low at about 1,500.

It's also in a relatively unstable country that doesn't need more problems.

One factor of global warming predictions is the increasing severity of weather events throughout the world. Maybe it's time we started naming severe weather events after the names of prominent global warmer deniers like Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma who believes that global warming is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on mankind.
