Bryan Fischer - taking lunacy to a new level

Fischer is the "Director of Issues Analysis" for the American Family Association which has boycotted such iconic American companies as Disney, Ford, Pepsi, Hallmark, KMart, Proctor & Gamble, Kraft Foods, Burger King and American Airlines for for not being sufficiently Christian in their view.

Last week Fischer made waves by taking the anti-mosque paranoia one step further and calling for the banning of all new mosques anywhere in America. He claimed the 1st Amendment guaranteeing religious freedom didn't apply because Islam is not a religion, it's a cult.

Now he's claiming that Governor David Paterson of New York is about to impose Sharia Law on New York. I can just see the police trying to force the women of New York to wear their burkas. That might cause a few problems.

What the fuck is it with this paranoia by the right about Sharia Law in America recently. Yea, when pigs fly, then again flying sheep almost became a reality.
