Some illuminating graphs.

To show some of the points I made in my earlier post about the bizzarro world of economic policy in Washington.

Graph 1 - rising income inequality.  One of the right's most persistent complaints is Obama's desire to redistribute the wealth when in fact the largest income distribution in history has already occurred in the past 10 years.  Now if only Democratic pundits on TV would start hammering home this point it might wake up a few people.

The GOP's belief that tax cuts, especially for the wealthy spur job growth is shown to be a complete lie in this graphic.  The last decade, which saw the Bush tax cuts is the first decade since World War II to have no job growth at all.

Lastly, the deficit with or without extending the Bush tax cuts.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
